PFAS Testing Service: EPA Method 1633A for Aqueous, Solid, Biosolids, and Tissue Samples by LC-MS/MS (40 targets)

Method 1633, Revision A is for analysis of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in aqueous, solid, biosolids, and tissue samples by LC-MS/MS. Revision A was released December 2024 and monitors 40 PFAS in non-potable water and other environmental media. This method was developed by the EPA and Department of Defense to standardize testing of most other sample types tested that are not drinking water.

Additionally this method supports the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits.

Method uses solid phase extraction and liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS). Full method and target details can be found on the EPA website.
